OBJECTIVES:
1. Fleshed out Introduction to CAD course complete with student guides, teacher guides, quizzes, homework, and educational resources
2. Curriculum covering core topics of the CSWA to lead students to achieve earning the certification
3. Students will gain fundamental CAD knowledge in both parametric and subdivision CAD programs
RESEARCH:
In a team of six, we each were assigned a chapter to fully develop, my assigned portion was Chapter 5: Subdivision Modeling. To create our curriculum, I did research on CAD competitors modeling offerings, in order to better develop an understanding about how Subdivision could fit into this intro course through the comparison of main competitor packages to the SOLIDWORKS offers.

I also researched the ways a teacher would move from the SOLIDWORKS website to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. More on this under UX Webpage Designs.

To create a competitive advantage over other CAD curriculums, the SOLIDWORKS Intro to CAD course includes a Subdivision chapter, a CAD capability that none of the main educational sector competitors have.
Included are 3 lecture lessons, a teacher guide, a student guide, and a quiz.
